Authenticity. Passion. Dedication. These are the words that best describe Norkys Restaurants. Founder, Carlos Sumba, embarked on the biggest journey of his life in 2003 when he decided to travel to the US. His humble beginnings in the culinary industry can be traced back to when he worked as a dish washer for a Peruvian Restaurant. That is where his love for the Peruvian Cuisine flourished. After many years of hard work, he was finally able to open the first Norkys Restaurant in Perth Amboy, NJ in 2011. However, his vision did not stop there. Carlos and his wife Ambar Almonte decided it was time to expand and bring the authentic Peruvian Cuisine to a second location in NJ. In 2021, they proudly inaugurated the second Norkys Restaurant in Manville, NJ. Currently, they are working on opening the third Norkys Restaurant in Edison, NJ. All this was also possible thanks to all the Norkys family members, the customers. Here, at Norkys Restaurant, we are more than a restaurant, we are a family. Thank you for being part of our journey.
